I definitely agree with the main points of this post. In today’s world it seems like as a society we are making strides, but our government appears to be going backwards. Most young people are going to feel as though their vote won’t matter — and I think this applies to some older generations as well.
Among all of the screaming and yelling for political attention, it’s hard to imagine that just one vote will matter. But when “just one vote” is seen the same way among so many, it hurts us so much more.
